BEST Robotics is a nonprofit organization that seeks to give students in middle and high school opportunities to participate in the engineering process. BEST stands for Boosting Engineering Science and Technology. BEST supports an annual robotics competition across the US.

The first week was busy for BEST Robotics with 40 teams brainstorming and developing their game day strategy. To assist with the engineering process, the University of South Alabama College of Engineering hosted a workshop. With 150 students and teachers arriving at USA’s Shelby Hall, engineering students guided the teams through successful design ideas for their robots.

The MCS Robotics Team participated in the Area Wide Competition at the University of South Alabama Mitchell Center.   The MCS Team placed 22nd out of 40 teams at this competition.
