Mobile Christian School Varsity and JV Wrestling
MCS is very proud to offer varsity and JV wrestling. The team consists of 7th–12th graders and competes in the 1-4A Division in Region 1 of the AHSAA. This team has a full competition schedule including dual, tri and quad meets, as well as a tournament competition schedule. The team also qualifies for the post-season Alabama State Dual championships and the Alabama State Individual championships.
The 2023-2024 season is the first year for the varsity and JV wrestling team. Anyone interested in competing or supporting the team can reach out to MCS Athletic Director or Head Coach for additional information.
HEAD COACH ULYSSES GONZALEZ
Wrestled in Pennsylvania and coached High School wrestling across the country to include military schools overseas. He was awarded Kansas State Wrestling Coach of the year for his development and sportsmanship during his tenure at Wamego High School.
ASSISTANT HEAD COACH JEREMY SIGLE
Wrestled in Colorado and brings a wealth of knowledge, experience and understanding of the sport to MCS.
