Welcome to my web page. I am excited about my 13th year at MCS teaching English to Juniors and Freshman and Speech to 8th grade. My passions are reading and writing, and I try to pass that on to my students. I earned a BA in English and Speech with Teacher Certification from Harding University. Since then I have logged 23 years of teaching experience. At MCS I also work with students who enter oratorical contest and as a sponser of the writing club called Roving Riters.
I have been married to a former educator for 43 years, and we have 2 sons and 5 grandchildren, 2 of whom are students at MCS. We all enjoy sports, especially softball and baseball. Our 2 granddaughters play softball, and we have 2 Tee Ball All Stars in the family. My family and I attend Regency Church of Christ where I help teach the Ladies Bible Class.
