Brian Callaway
Secondary Mathematics
I am excited to be entering the fifth year of my second career. After receiving a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of South Alabama in 1984, I spent 23 years designing digital hardware and software in my first career before deciding that I enjoyed working with kids more than engineering. This year I am teaching Pre-Algebra 8, Algebra I and Algebra III/Statistics to eighth and ninth graders and seniors. I have been on the softball coaching staff in some capacity for the last eleven years. Currently, I am the Head Varsity Softball and Volleyball Coach. My other responsibilities include maintaining the website.
On a more personal note, I am a husband of 28 years and a father of four daughters. I met my lovely wife, Judy, in Chemistry class my first quarter at South Alabama and we were married four years later. Our two oldest daughters, Maddie and Laura, both graduated from Mobile Christian. Our two youngest daughters, Kristin and Gabrielle, are currently in the tenth and eighth grade at Mobile Christian. My entire family has been blessed to be a part of the Mobile Christian Family. I hope your family also enjoys the benefits of being at Mobile Christian.
