Mobile Christian come from behind to beat Faith, 10-7
Down four runs in the seventh, Mobile Christian recovered thanks to Raegan Hudson's double and pulled out a 10-7 win over Faith on Saturday at the Baker Invitational. Mobile Christian charged back in the top of the seventh inning.
With Mobile Christian trailing by four in the seventh inning, Hudson came to the plate and doubled, bringing home Samantha Glenn and Gabrielle Callaway. Additional runs came from two doubles and an RBI single by Chelsee Rawlins.
Hudson racked up five RBIs on three hits for Mobile Christian.
Even though Brittney Howle allowed seven runs over seven innings she still recorded the victory. The Mobile Christian pitcher struck out six, walked four and surrendered 11 hits.
Mobile Christian jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the top of the first. Mobile Christian caught fire after Glenn doubled. Then Hudson singled, plating Glenn. Mobile Christian added another run when Callaway scored.
Saraland falls 10-3 at the hands of Mobile Christian
Saraland didn't have a chance on Thursday 3/8, as Mobile Christian won in blowout fashion, 10-3 in seven innings at Saraland.
Mobile Christian scored five runs in the fourth on an RBI single by Chelsee Rawlins, an error, an RBI single by Gabrielle Callaway, and a groundout by Raegan Hudson.
Callaway racked up five RBIs on two hits for Mobile Christian.
Brittney Howle struck out seven, paving the way for a Mobile Christian win. Mobile Christian's pitcher allowed three earned runs, four hits and one walk over seven innings.
